Polymerization & Restoration
It’s a restoration process where the oxidized/top damaged layer is removed or refined, then a protective coating is applied and cured (polymerized) so the lens regains clarity and stays protected against UV and weathering.
Simple polishing can improve clarity short-term, but without proper UV protection the lens often re-yellows quickly. Polymerization includes an added protective layer (cured coating) designed to extend durability.
Often they can get very close, but it depends on the damage. Deep cracks, internal haze, moisture inside the lamp, or damaged reflectors can limit the final result.
Usually one slot per booking. Expect around one session (about 60 minutes) depending on the condition of the lenses.
Yes, when done correctly. The process targets the outer lens surface. If you have aftermarket coatings or previous repairs, we’ll adapt the approach.
No. Moisture/condensation is usually a seal/vent issue. We can restore the outer lens clarity, but sealing problems need separate attention.
Protective Film (PPF) for Headlights
A transparent PPF (paint protection film) layer applied over the lens to protect against stone chips, light scratches, and UV exposure.
If you want maximum protection (especially on highways), film is a great upgrade. If you drive mostly city/low mileage, the polymerized protection may be enough—film just adds extra armor.
Quality PPF is designed to resist yellowing, but nothing is immortal. Proper maintenance and avoiding harsh chemicals helps.
Yes. It can be removed and replaced if needed, ideally by someone who knows what they’re doing to avoid adhesive residue or surface damage.
Mobile vs Workshop
Workshop means you come to us. Mobile means we come to your location with the equipment.
Travel to your address + on-site restoration. The price difference mainly covers travel time/logistics and setup.
A safe parking spot with enough space to work around the front of the car. Access to power can help; if not available, we’ll work with what’s possible depending on the setup.
Yes, if agreed in advance. Otherwise, you can wait—most jobs fit in one slot.
Booking, Reschedule, Cancel
Use the booking form on the home page. Pick service type (Workshop/Mobile), choose a time slot, and submit your details.
Yes. If you received reschedule/cancel links in your confirmation, you can manage it there. If not, contact us and we’ll help.
Please let us know. We’ll do our best to accommodate, but late arrival can push the slot or require rescheduling.
Availability depends on the current schedule. If weekends are closed in the system, pick a weekday slot.
Payments & Warranty
Payment is typically handled at the time of service. If you need a specific method (bank transfer, invoice, etc.), contact us before the appointment.
We provide 2 year(s) warranty for loss of clarity/yellowing due to coating/material failure under normal use. It does not cover new physical damage (chips, scratches), accidents, or harsh chemicals.
Contact us with your certificate/booking details and clear photos. We may ask to inspect the headlights. Remedy is usually a rework of the restoration (not a cash refund).
Avoid aggressive solvents, abrasive compounds, and pressure washing too close. Normal washing is fine—treat them like paint with a protective layer.
Other Practical Questions
Pricing is typically for the service as booked. If you only need one headlight, contact us and we’ll advise the best option.
If it’s a clear plastic lens, often yes—but it depends on size/shape. Send photos and we’ll confirm.
If you need paperwork, please mention it when booking so we prepare it correctly.
